Job Description
The Senior Software Engineer will develop and enhance technology solutions that support a sustainable energy system, focusing on optimizing renewable energy, creating intelligent grids, and improving utility customer experiences to drive industry transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software solutions for energy optimization and grid management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement energy system features
- Write clean, efficient, and scalable code to support the company's energy platform
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer or in a similar role with a strong track record of developing and deploying software solutions.
- Extensive experience with software development, including designing, coding, testing, and maintaining applications.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages relevant to the role (e.g., Python, Java, C++, or similar), with the ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Experience working with cloud platforms and services, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, to deploy and manage applications.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including product managers, data scientists, and hardware engineers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Willingness to work on-site at the New York City office or remotely within the East Coast region timezone, with the understanding that candidates outside this region will not be considered.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
