Job Description
A Senior Mobile Engineer responsible for developing and enhancing mobile applications that support Kraken's sustainable energy platform, helping to create smart, scalable solutions for green home installations and energy management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain mobile applications for energy solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement features
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of mobile applications
- Integrate mobile apps with backend services and APIs
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical best practices
Requirements
- Proven experience in mobile software development, specifically with native mobile platforms (iOS and Android), with a strong focus on building scalable and reliable mobile applications.
- Solid understanding of mobile development frameworks and programming languages such as Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, or Java.
- Experience with mobile app architecture, including design patterns, data management, and API integration.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues in mobile applications.
- Knowledge of mobile UI/UX design principles and the ability to implement user interfaces that are intuitive and responsive.
- Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies for mobile applications to ensure high quality and performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including product, backend, design, and web teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving project requirements.
