Job Description

The role involves leading and delivering large-scale utility transformation projects in North America, serving as the primary client face and guiding cross-functional teams to implement Kraken's energy management platform, ultimately driving industry disruption and sustainable energy innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the face and delivery leader for North American utility transformation projects
  • Lead and coordinate internal teams of Client Delivery Leaders and Client Engineering teams
  • Brief and communicate with executive stakeholders, including utility CEOs
  • Manage multiple work streams and dependencies throughout the transformation process
  • Coach, guide, and support delivery leaders to ensure successful project execution

Requirements

  • Experience serving as the delivery leader for large-scale utility transformation projects, with the ability to serve as the face of the project and communicate effectively with senior executives such as the CEO of a billion-dollar utility.
  • Ability to maintain a detailed understanding of the dependencies across multiple work streams involved in complex utility transformations.
  • Proven experience coaching, guiding, and supporting a team of delivery leaders throughout a transformation process.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a major North American utility implementation of a technology platform or similar large-scale project.
  • Comfortable briefing and engaging with high-level stakeholders, including utility CEOs and senior management.
  • Experience working with internal teams such as Client Delivery Leaders, Client Engineering teams, and collaborating with a Product and Engineering organization of approximately 1000 personnel.
  • Strong understanding of utility operations, energy management systems, or related technology platforms.
  • Experience in managing or overseeing the deployment of customer management systems, billing, meter data management, CRM, or similar energy-related software solutions.
  • Ability to understand and manage the dependencies and complexities across multiple work streams involved in large-scale technology implementations.
  • Experience in leading or managing transformation initiatives that involve significant change management and operational re-engineering.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to coach and guide teams and stakeholders effectively.
  • A background in energy, utilities, or related technology sectors is preferred, but not explicitly stated as mandatory.
