Job Description
The Product Marketing Director will lead the go-to-market strategy, positioning, and messaging for Kraken Customer, a key energy sector product, while managing and growing a team of product marketers to drive product adoption and revenue in the sustainable energy industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the go-to-market strategy, positioning, and messaging for Kraken Customer.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Demand Generation to ensure successful product launches and market adoption.
- Manage, hire, and develop a team of product marketers.
- Bring customer, market, and competitor insights into product positioning and strategy.
- Define and execute the go-to-market priorities to drive revenue and product adoption.
- Shape thought leadership, positioning, and messaging for Kraken Customer.
- Enable internal teams and advocates to champion the product's value.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of the energy sector, including knowledge of customer operations systems for utilities.
- Experience defining and executing go-to-market (GTM) strategy and priorities for a solution line, driving revenue and product adoption.
- Ability to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Sales, Customer Success, Demand Generation, and Product Management to achieve business goals.
- Experience managing, hiring, and growing a team of product marketers.
- Ability to bring deep customer, market, and competitor insights into the product marketing strategy.
- Proven ability to shape thought leadership, positioning, and messaging for a product and ensure mastery of target personas.
- Experience enabling internal teams, advocates, and analysts to champion product value.
- Excellent communication skills to shape positioning and messaging for the product.
- Strategic thinking and visionary mindset to redefine core customer operations systems for utilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and roll up sleeves to execute strategies effectively.
