Job Description
A Privacy Analyst responsible for strengthening the company's privacy framework, navigating complex global privacy regulations, and supporting the organization's expansion into new markets within the energy technology sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Bolster and maintain the company's privacy framework to support a fast-moving, agile organization.
- Navigate and manage complex global privacy landscapes as the company expands into new territories.
- Ensure compliance with relevant privacy laws and regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in privacy, data protection, or related fields.
- Experience in bolstering privacy frameworks to accommodate fast-moving, agile organizations.
- Ability to navigate complex privacy landscapes globally as the organization expands into new territories.
- Knowledge of international privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR and CCPA.
- Strong understanding of privacy principles, data management, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills to assess privacy risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and explain privacy requirements clearly.
- Ability to adapt privacy practices to a rapidly evolving organizational environment.
- Experience working with privacy policies, notices, and related documentation.
- Understanding of privacy impact assessments and data flow mapping.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law, Information Security, Data Management, or a related field.
