Job Description
The Lead Software Engineer Python Django is responsible for guiding product development, building and maintaining high-quality systems, and leading a technical team within a company focused on creating sustainable energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide product development through informed prioritization and setting product objectives
- Build and lead a high-functioning engineering team
- Ship, maintain, and ensure the quality of high-standards systems
- Provide technical leadership within the engineering organization
- Support operational effectiveness and team wellbeing
- Align engineering efforts with strategic product goals
Requirements
- Proven experience in leading software engineering teams with a focus on building high-functioning teams, shipping, and maintaining high-quality systems.
- Strong technical leadership skills in software development, particularly in Python and Django frameworks.
- Experience working closely with product managers to guide product development through informed prioritisation and product objectives.
- Ability to balance operational effectiveness, team support and wellbeing, strategic product alignment, and technical leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to build and support a high-functioning engineering team as the organization scales.
