Job Description
The Lead Analytics Consultant will work directly with clients to develop and enhance their data and analytics capabilities, coach teams on best practices, and translate client needs into technical solutions, playing a strategic role in driving digital transformation within the energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide clients in rebuilding critical reporting and analytics on Kraken data
- Coach client teams on analytics best practices, including roles, tools, and processes
- Occasionally perform hands-on work with SQL or BI tools to unblock issues or demonstrate solutions
- Translate client needs into clear requirements for Kraken product and engineering teams
- Help clients adopt Kraken data and build lasting data capabilities to support their transformation
Requirements
- Experience leading a high-performing analytics or data team.
- Ability to work directly with clients to help them develop modern, transformative data and analytics capabilities as part of their broader Kraken transformation.
- Proficiency in guiding clients as they rebuild critical reporting analytics on Kraken data.
- Ability to coach client teams on analytics practices including roles, tools, and processes.
- Hands-on experience with sample SQL or Business Intelligence (BI) tools to help unblock or demonstrate solutions.
- Skill in translating client needs into clear input for Kraken product and engineering teams.
- Strong data leadership skills suitable for a hybrid role that involves coaching, practicing, and translating.
- Experience in establishing vision, practices, and playbooks for data teams (preferably early-stage or new teams).
