Job Description
The Head of Tax will lead Kraken's global tax functions, overseeing tax planning, compliance, reporting, and risk management across multiple jurisdictions, while advising executive leadership on international expansion, transfer pricing, and mergers and acquisitions. The role involves strategic thinking, technical expertise, and building a high-performing tax team to support the company's global growth in the energy technology sector.

Requirements
- Experience in leading global tax functions with oversight of tax planning, compliance, reporting, and risk management across multiple jurisdictions.
- Proven ability to operate in fast-moving, ambiguous environments with strategic thinking and technical expertise in tax matters.
- Experience advising executive leadership on international expansion, transfer pricing, indirect tax compliance, and M&A activities.
- Ability to build, mentor, and lead a high-performing tax team.
- Experience establishing scalable systems and processes to support global growth in a corporate setting.
