Job Description
The Energy Flexibility Consultant supports the deployment and long-term management of Kraken's residential flexibility products, primarily within the ResiFlex platform, by coordinating technology, finance, and communication aspects of client projects and facilitating their migration and integration into Kraken's energy management system.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage billing, finance, and communication domains for client projects within the ResiFlex product.
- Support migration of client projects onto the Kraken platform and manage long-term technology requirements.
- Collaborate with Kraken's technology and operational teams, as well as clients, to deliver project results.
- Understand Kraken's systems, analyze client requests, and refine solutions to leverage capabilities effectively.
- Integrate technology, people, and processes to develop innovative improvements for clients.
- Assist clients in adapting to Kraken’s development and operational ways of working.
- Work closely with product managers and developers to communicate development needs and act as a client liaison.
Requirements
- Experience in managing billing, finance, and communications within a technology domain, specifically related to energy projects or products.
- Understanding of how Kraken's platform works and the ability to understand problems or requests raised by clients to refine solutions that leverage existing and new capabilities.
- Ability to work in partnership with technology and operational teams at Kraken as well as the client to deliver results for client projects or business needs.
- Experience supporting migration projects onto a SaaS platform or managing long-term technology requirements within energy or related sectors.
- Ability to bring together technology, people, and processes to innovate improvements for clients.
- Experience working closely with product managers and developers to request development needs and act as a link to the client.
- Strong understanding of the energy industry, particularly in the context of distributed energy resources (DERs), virtual power plants, or smart energy systems, is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate between clients and internal teams.
- Ability to support clients in adapting to ways of working aligned with Kraken’s development style.
- Educational background or experience relevant to energy technology, software, or related fields (specific degree requirements are not explicitly stated but implied).
