Job Description
A Data Engineer at Kraken is responsible for managing and analyzing large-scale, complex, and varied data sources to enable insights and support the company's mission of creating a sustainable energy system through innovative data solutions and microservices.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and process high-volume, complex, and unstructured data from various sources.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure to support data analysis and insights.
- Enable the business and customers to answer complex questions and extract insights from data.
Requirements
- Experience working with high throughput data sources, specifically handling over 10,000,000,000 rows of data per day and growing rapidly.
- Proficiency in working with complex unstructured and semi-structured data, as well as complex application data from various microservices.
- Ability to enable the business and customers to answer increasingly complex questions, gain new insights, and develop models based on data and external data sources.
