Job Description
The role involves leading the implementation of a major utility transformation in North America, serving as both the face of the project and the delivery leader, guiding cross-functional teams to deliver innovative energy management solutions and drive industry disruption.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the face and delivery leader for North American utility transformation projects
- Lead and coordinate internal teams, including Client Delivery Leaders and Client Engineering teams
- Brief and communicate with executive stakeholders, including utility CEOs
- Manage and understand dependencies across multiple work streams to ensure successful project delivery
- Coach, guide, and support delivery leaders throughout the transformation process
Requirements
- Experience serving as the delivery leader for major client transformations, with the ability to lead a North American utility transformation project.
- Ability to serve as the face of the project and communicate effectively with senior executives, including briefing the CEO of a billion dollar utility.
- Strong understanding of the dependencies across multiple work streams within large-scale energy or utility transformation projects.
- Experience coaching, guiding, and supporting delivery leaders throughout complex transformation initiatives.
- Proven track record of delivering results in energy management, utility operations, or similar technology-driven sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate internal teams, including Client Delivery Leaders and Client Engineering teams, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Comfortable working with a large cross-functional organization, including a Product and Engineering organization of approximately 1000 personnel.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical and strategic concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in implementing or managing energy management platforms, Customer Information Systems (CIS), billing, meter data management, CRM, or AI-driven communications is preferred.
- Knowledge of the energy industry, including renewable generation, grid management, and decarbonization initiatives, is desirable.
- Ability to understand and manage complicated dependencies across multiple work streams within large-scale technology implementations.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to guide and support talented delivery teams through complex transformations.
- Experience working with or briefing senior executives, including CEOs, in the energy or utility sector.
- Willingness to work in a high-profile, fast-paced environment with a focus on delivering world-changing results.
