Job Description

The Client Delivery Lead is responsible for managing technology migration projects and long-term technology requirements within the energy sector, working closely with clients and internal teams to deliver innovative solutions that support sustainable energy systems and improve customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage technology domains such as billing, finance, and communications for client projects.
  • Support client migration onto the Kraken platform or manage long-term technology requirements.
  • Collaborate with Kraken's technology and operational teams and the client to deliver project results.
  • Understand Kraken's systems, identify client problems or requests, and refine solutions to leverage capabilities.
  • Integrate technology, people, and processes to develop improvements for clients.
  • Assist clients in adapting to Kraken’s ways of working and development style.
  • Work closely with product managers and developers to communicate development needs and serve as a client liaison.

Requirements

  • Experience in client delivery within the energy utilities sector, specifically supporting technology transformation journeys and long-term migration projects.
  • Ability to manage a technology domain related to billing, finance, and communications for client projects, either migrating onto the Kraken platform or managing long-term technology requirements.
  • Strong understanding of how Kraken's platform works, including the ability to understand client problems or requests and refine solutions to leverage existing and new capabilities.
  • Experience working in partnership with technology and operational teams at Kraken as well as with clients to deliver results aligned with project or business needs.
  • Ability to bring together technology, people, and processes to innovate improvements for clients.
  • Experience supporting clients in adapting to ways of working that are aligned with Kraken’s development style.
  • Ability to work closely with Kraken’s product managers and developers to request development needs and act as a link to the client.
  • Proven experience in managing long-term technology projects or migrations in the energy or utilities sector.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and clients.
  • Understanding of energy management systems, customer information systems (CIS), billing, meter data management, CRM, or similar platforms is preferred but not explicitly mandatory.
  • Physical and mental capacity to manage complex projects and coordinate multiple stakeholders, although specific physical demands are not detailed.
