Job Description
A Software Development Engineer intern at Esri will collaborate with a team to design, develop, and test innovative GIS software solutions, gaining hands-on experience in areas such as machine learning, computer vision, and geospatial technology while contributing to projects that support disaster relief, data analysis, and augmented reality applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the product development team to design, develop, and test software.
- Identify and resolve complex problems to improve software functionality.
- Write quality code following coding standards and participate in code reviews.
- Maintain and update software code in shared repositories.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends in software development.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Master 1 or Master 2 at a university or Grande École in France, majoring in computer science, applied mathematics, computer engineering, software engineering, or a related field
- Knowledge in one or more of these areas: computer vision, deep learning, C, C++, Python, Pytorch, Cuda
- Available to complete a consecutive, 12-week internship in Esri's offices in Cachan 94, beginning in May or June 2026
- Existing work authorization for France
