Job Description

The Client Data Analytics Lead is responsible for working directly with clients to develop and enhance their data and analytics capabilities, coaching on best practices, and translating client needs into actionable insights to support energy industry transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide clients in rebuilding critical reporting and analytics on Kraken data
  • Coach client teams on analytics best practices, roles, tools, and processes
  • Occasionally perform hands-on work with SQL or BI tools to unblock issues or demonstrate solutions
  • Translate client needs into clear input for Kraken product and engineering teams
  • Help clients adopt Kraken data and build lasting data capabilities to support their transformation

Requirements

  • Experience playing a lead role on a high-performing analytics or data team.
  • Strong data leadership skills and a strong data background.
  • Ability to work directly with clients to develop modern, transformative data and analytics capabilities.
  • Experience guiding clients as they rebuild critical reporting analytics on Kraken data.
  • Ability to coach client teams on analytics practices including roles, tools, and processes.
  • Occasional hands-on experience with sample SQL or Business Intelligence (BI) tools to help unblock or demonstrate solutions.
  • Ability to translate client needs into clear input for Kraken product and engineering teams.
  • Excellent communication skills to serve as a part coach, part practitioner, and part translator.
  • Experience in building lasting data capabilities to drive organizational transformation.
  • Strong data leadership skills suitable for a hybrid role involving coaching, practicing, and translating.
  • A love of working with clients and a passion for driving the clean energy transition.
  • A strong data background with the ability to lead and influence teams.
  • Ability to help clients adopt Kraken data smoothly and build lasting data capabilities.
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid role combining coaching, hands-on work, and translation.
  • Ability to operate without being an implementation manager or a full-time analyst.
