Job Description
The Senior Lead Systems Engineer will be responsible for developing and optimizing design specifications for Invinity's vanadium flow batteries, collaborating with technical teams to ensure product requirements are met and market value is delivered, within the context of advancing energy storage solutions for renewable energy integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of vanadium flow battery architectures and product designs.
- Deliver optimal design specifications supported by model-based engineering tools and empirical data.
- Coordinate with engineering leads and technical teams to ensure product requirements are met and market value is delivered.
Requirements
- The candidate must have experience delivering optimal design specifications supported by model-based engineering tools and empirical data.
- The candidate must have experience working within a Systems and Controls Engineering team within a Product Development Group.
- The candidate must have the ability to coordinate collaboratively with other engineering leads and technical teams to ensure the product design meets requirements and delivers value to the market.
- The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering, controls engineering, or a related field.
- The candidate must have a bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- The candidate must have experience with energy storage systems, preferably with grid-scale battery technologies or similar energy systems.
- The candidate must have a proven track record of delivering design specifications for complex engineering products supported by model-based tools and empirical data.
- The candidate must be able to work in a collaborative environment and coordinate with multiple technical teams effectively.
- The candidate must have a strong understanding of product design requirements and how to meet them through engineering specifications.
- The candidate must be able to operate in a role that supports the development of new battery architectures and product designs.
