Job Description

This role involves selling Samsara's IoT solutions to small to medium-sized customers, managing the entire sales process from prospecting to closing, and building long-term relationships to help improve operational safety, efficiency, and sustainability across various industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own customer engagements from prospecting to closing sales.
  • Generate sales pipeline through outbound prospecting and inbound lead follow-up.
  • Target and manage accounts with 11-30 vehicles, handling high-volume transactional sales.
  • Build and maintain genuine relationships with customers to foster trust and long-term success.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a closing sales role.
  • Proven track record of consistent quota achievement.
  • Experience selling in the commercial space with small to medium deal sizes.
  • Experience with high-volume cold calling.
  • Experience in fast-paced, transactional sales environments with high volume demands.
  • Demonstrate a growth mindset and a willingness to be collaborative with teammates and in the selling process.
  • Familiarity with SFDC (Salesforce) or similar Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.
  • Ability to own and handle the entire customer engagement process, from prospecting and qualification to closing.
  • Experience targeting accounts with 11-30 vehicles.
  • Ability to generate pipeline through strategic outbound prospecting and manage inbound leads from the account development team.
