Job Description
This role involves selling Samsara's IoT solutions to small to medium-sized customers, managing the entire sales process from prospecting to closing, and building long-term relationships to help improve operational safety, efficiency, and sustainability across various industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Own customer engagements from prospecting to closing deals.
- Generate sales pipeline through outbound prospecting and inbound lead follow-up.
- Target and manage accounts with 11-30 vehicles, handling high-volume transactional sales.
- Build and maintain genuine relationships with customers to foster trust and long-term success.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a closing sales role
- Proven track record of consistent quota achievement
- Experience selling in the commercial space with small to medium deal sizes
- Experience with high-volume cold calling
- Experience in fast-paced, transactional sales environments
- Demonstrated ability to handle and own a transactional sales process with high volume demands
- Familiarity with Salesforce (SFDC)
- Willingness to learn about businesses in various industries such as waste management and food distribution
- Ability to build genuine relationships with customers and earn their trust over time
- Ability to generate pipeline through strategic outbound prospecting and manage inbound leads
- Experience targeting accounts with 11-30 vehicles
- Ability to own customer engagements end-to-end, from prospecting and qualification to close
- Willingness to adopt a growth mindset and collaborate with teammates
- Ability to work remotely in Canada
- Legal right to work in the specified work location
