This role involves selling Samsara's IoT solutions to small to medium-sized customers, managing the entire sales process from prospecting to closing, and building long-term relationships to help improve operational safety, efficiency, and sustainability across various industries.
Key Responsibilities
Own customer engagements from prospecting to closing deals.
Generate sales pipeline through outbound prospecting and inbound lead follow-up.
Target and manage accounts with 11-30 vehicles, handling high-volume transactional sales.
Build and maintain genuine relationships with customers to foster trust and long-term success.
Requirements
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a closing sales role
Proven track record of consistent quota achievement
Experience selling in the commercial space with small to medium deal sizes
Experience with high-volume cold calling
Experience in fast-paced, transactional sales environments
Demonstrated ability to handle and own a transactional sales process with high volume demands
Familiarity with Salesforce (SFDC)
Willingness to learn about businesses in various industries such as waste management and food distribution
Ability to build genuine relationships with customers and earn their trust over time
Ability to generate pipeline through strategic outbound prospecting and manage inbound leads
Experience targeting accounts with 11-30 vehicles
Ability to own customer engagements end-to-end, from prospecting and qualification to close
Willingness to adopt a growth mindset and collaborate with teammates
Ability to work remotely in Canada
