Job Description
The Senior Lead Systems Engineer will be responsible for developing and optimizing design specifications for Invinity's vanadium flow batteries, collaborating with technical teams to ensure product performance and market value, and supporting the advancement of energy storage solutions for a sustainable energy future.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of vanadium flow battery architectures and product designs.
- Deliver optimal design specifications using model-based engineering tools and empirical data.
- Coordinate with engineering leads and technical teams to ensure product requirements are met and market value is delivered.
Requirements
- The candidate must have experience supporting the delivery of optimal design specifications supported by model-based engineering tools and empirical data.
- The candidate must have experience working within a Systems and Controls Engineering team within a Product Development Group, and be able to coordinate collaboratively with other engineering leads and technical teams.
- The candidate must have a strong understanding of vanadium flow battery architectures and product designs, with the ability to contribute at the forefront of new developments in this area.
- The candidate must have the ability to deliver design specifications that meet requirements and deliver value to the market.
- The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant engineering experience in systems engineering, controls engineering, or a related field.
- The candidate must possess a bachelor's degree in engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related technical discipline; a master's degree or higher is preferred.
- The candidate must have experience working with model-based engineering tools and empirical data analysis relevant to energy storage systems.
- The candidate must be able to work collaboratively with multiple technical teams and engineering leads to ensure product design meets requirements.
- The candidate must have the ability to support the development of new vanadium flow battery architectures and product designs at an advanced level.
- The candidate must be able to operate within a team environment and contribute to landmark clean energy projects worldwide.
