Job Description
The role involves designing, specifying, and implementing a cloud-based data management and analytics platform to handle large data volumes, support reporting, analytics, and machine learning, and ensure system reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency, in support of energy storage solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, specify, and implement a cloud-based data platform capable of managing large data volumes
- Ensure data systems are reliable, scalable, observable, and cost-efficient
- Partner with cross-functional teams including scientists, engineers, data scientists, and commercial staff to meet evolving business and user needs
- Support reporting, analytics, and machine learning requirements for internal and external customers
Requirements
- Designing, specifying, and implementing a cloud-based data platform capable of managing large amounts of data, ingesting many gigabytes daily, and supporting reporting, analytic, and machine learning needs for internal and external customers.
- Ensuring that data systems are reliable, scalable, observable, and cost-efficient.
- Partnering with cross-functional teams including scientists, engineers, data scientists, and commercial representatives to ensure the platform meets the evolving needs of the business and users.
