The organization is seeking an experienced fundraising executive to lead strategic donor cultivation, secure multi-year philanthropic commitments, and support organizational growth in alignment with its mission to advance climate, justice, and jobs through industry transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Create and implement a fundraising plan to support organizational growth and impact.
Maintain and cultivate relationships with existing funders, including institutional and individual donors.
Identify, pursue, and secure new funding opportunities, especially at the transformational level.
Develop and manage a pipeline of funding prospects and raise regranting dollars for partners and allies.
Contribute to organizational strategic planning and align fundraising efforts with organizational goals.
Lead efforts to build systems, processes, and documentation for constituent relationship management (CRM).
Collaborate with internal teams to support fundraising initiatives and organizational development.
Requirements
At least 15 years of increasing responsibility in fundraising, with a proven track record in cultivating 7- and 8-figure philanthropic relationships on behalf of growing organizations.
Deep familiarity with U.S.-based philanthropic networks, institutions, events, publications, and resources, especially those relating to climate, jobs, and justice.
Experience in cultivating philanthropic relationships involving multi-year commitments in the range of 5-20 million dollars.
Strong project management skills and ability to juggle multiple conflicting priorities.
Experience with organizational strategic planning and ability to contribute to strategic planning from the philanthropic fundraising perspective.
Ability and confidence to manage up and manage across the organization by setting clear, ambitious goals and articulating what is necessary to achieve them.
Strong vision for systems, processes, and documentation, including constituent relationship management (CRM) software.
Familiarity with international non-U.S. based philanthropic networks and ability to raise funds for international work (preferred).
Access to ultra-high net worth individual relationships that represent new revenue opportunities for Industrious Labs (preferred).
Excellent storytelling and presentation skills, with comfort in presenting at conferences and pitching to new audiences (preferred).
Comfort in a matrixed work environment and skill with cross-functional collaboration (preferred).
Scrappiness and resourcefulness, with a bias toward action and a figure-it-out mindset (preferred).
Experience building and scaling organizations or initiatives, with an entrepreneurial mindset (preferred).

Compensation/salary range: $176,000 annually
