The Associate, Project Development supports the planning and development of electric fleet projects, working with various teams to ensure project readiness for customer contracts and gradually taking on more independent responsibilities in site development and project execution.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver fully developed and planned projects in preparation for customer contract execution
Collaborate with Senior Associates and the commercial team to document customer needs and commitments
Assist in managing external engineers and consultants to finalize site designs
Ensure projects meet underwriting requirements through collaboration with Legal, Finance, and Market Development
Support the advancement of deals by acting as a junior site development resource
Requirements
The candidate must deliver fully developed and planned projects in preparation for customer contract execution.
The candidate must work closely with Senior Associates and the commercial team to document customer needs and Highland commitments.
The candidate must assist in advancing deals by acting as a junior site development resource.
The candidate must collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Market Development teams to help ensure projects meet underwriting requirements.
The candidate must assist in managing external engineers and consultants to finalize site designs for handoff to the Customer Success and Project Execution teams.
The candidate must have the ability to grow into a more autonomous role, taking on project development responsibilities with increasing independence over time.
The position reports directly to the Senior Manager, Development and Construction.
The candidate must be based in California with an expectation of approximately 20% travel.
