Job Description

A Technical Trainer responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive technical training programs to customers, enabling them to perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on electric vehicles and charging infrastructure, tailored to specific configurations and working with various manufacturers and partners.

Key Responsibilities

Compile training materials from Highland, OEM, and partner sources.
Deliver structured technical training programs to end customers.
Ensure customer technical self-sufficiency in maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs of electric vehicles and charging infrastructure.
Tailor training delivery to customer-specific configurations of buses and chargers.
Train customers to troubleshoot complex technical issues using OEM diagnostic software, Highland tools, and web portals.
Support customers in performing depot-level repairs on electric vehicles and charging systems.

Requirements

Experience in delivering structured, comprehensive technical training programs related to electric vehicles and charging infrastructure.
Ability to compile training materials from Highland, OEM, and partner sources to develop training programs.
Proficiency in tailoring training delivery to customer-specific configurations based on their balance-of-system components, including buses and chargers.
Experience working across multiple bus manufacturers, charger manufacturers, and subsystem partners.
Ability to ensure customer technical self-sufficiency in performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repair operations on electric vehicles and charging infrastructure.
Skill in troubleshooting complex technical challenges independently using OEM diagnostic software and tools, Highland s custom-engineered diagnostic tools, and OEM web portals.
Knowledge of performing depot-level repairs on electric vehicles and charging infrastructure.
Experience in working with OEM diagnostic software, OEM web portals, and custom diagnostic tools.
Ability to communicate technical information effectively to customers and tailor training to their specific configurations.
Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Physical ability to perform training activities, including demonstrating maintenance, diagnostics, and repair procedures on electric vehicles and charging infrastructure.
