Job Description
The Project Specialist manages a pipeline of incomplete solar and home improvement projects, working with contractors, utility companies, and customers to ensure all requirements are met for equipment operation and project completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a pipeline of uncompleted customer solar and home improvement projects.
- Work with contractors, utility companies, AHJs, and customers to meet project requirements.
- Obtain utility approval and Permission to Operate for solar projects.
- Secure local permits for home improvement projects.
- Research and document utility and AHJ processes in new territories to streamline application submissions.
Requirements
- Manage a pipeline of uncompleted customer solar and home improvement projects within GoodLeap's portfolio.
- Work with contractors, utility companies, AHJs (Authorities Having Jurisdiction), and customers to ensure all requirements are met for customers to operate their equipment.
- Obtain utility approval and Permission to Operate for solar customers.
- Ensure home improvement projects meet specific local permitting requirements for project completion.
- Research and document utility and AHJ processes in new territories to streamline future application submissions.
