Job Description
The Assistant Collections Manager is responsible for coaching and developing collection staff into effective negotiators, motivating the team to meet monthly goals, and ensuring excellent customer service within a sustainable solutions company.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach, train, and develop collectors into strong negotiators
- Motivate collectors to maintain high morale
- Achieve monthly collection goals
- Provide an excellent customer experience during collections
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors or managers
Requirements
- The candidate must have the ability to coach, train, and develop collectors into strong negotiators.
- The candidate must be able to effectively motivate collectors to ensure high morale.
- The candidate must be able to achieve monthly goals related to collections.
- The candidate must have experience in collections, negotiation, or related customer service roles (implied by the need to develop negotiators and achieve goals).
- The candidate must be able to provide an excellent customer experience during collections activities.
- The candidate must be able to perform the responsibilities of the role as assigned by supervisors or other managers, including additional responsibilities related to the department.
- The candidate must be able to work in a collaborative work culture.
- The candidate must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations for known disabilities.
