Job Description
A Product Manager responsible for automating operational workflows related to the Virtual Power Plant platform, focusing on building tools and systems to improve efficiency, insights, and dispatch success at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the automation of operational workflows for the Virtual Power Plant platform.
- Develop tools and systems to increase operational efficiency and unlock insights.
- Collaborate across Product, Data, Engineering, and Operations teams to improve dispatch success.
- Transform manual processes such as participant targeting, pre-event optimizations, real-time monitoring, and post-event reporting into automated solutions.
Requirements
- Experience leading the automation of operational workflows, specifically related to dispatching events, participant targeting, pre-event optimizations, real-time monitoring, and post-event reporting.
- Ability to turn operational pain points into seamless, automated product experiences.
- Experience working at the intersection of Product, Data, Engineering, and Operations to build tools and systems that increase efficiency, unlock insights, and drive dispatch success at scale.
- Proven track record in developing or managing products that improve operational workflows and reporting accuracy.
- Strong understanding of virtual power plant (VPP) platforms and energy dispatch processes (implied by the need to automate workflows tied to VPP).
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams including Product, Data, Engineering, and Operations.
- Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors or managers, indicating flexibility and adaptability in job duties.
