Job Description
A Product Manager responsible for automating operational workflows related to the Virtual Power Plant platform, focusing on building tools and systems to improve efficiency, insights, and dispatch success at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the automation of operational workflows for the Virtual Power Plant platform.
- Collaborate with Product, Data, Engineering, and Operations teams to develop tools and systems that improve efficiency.
- Transform manual processes such as participant targeting, pre-event optimizations, real-time monitoring, and post-event reporting into automated solutions.
- Build systems to increase operational insights and ensure accurate, timely reporting for stakeholders and energy partners.
Requirements
- Experience leading the automation of operational workflows tied to a Virtual Power Plant platform.
- Ability to turn operational pain points into seamless, automated product experiences.
- Experience working at the intersection of Product, Data, Engineering, and Operations to build tools and systems that increase efficiency, unlock insights, and drive dispatch success at scale.
- Proven track record of building and managing products that improve operational performance and reporting accuracy.
- Strong understanding of dispatch processes, participant targeting, pre-event optimizations, real-time monitoring, and post-event reporting in energy or related industries.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Product, Data, Engineering, and Operations.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with internal stakeholders and external energy partners.
- Willingness to perform additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors or managers related to the position or department.
- Ability to adapt to changes in job responsibilities, reassignments, or transfers as needed by the company.
