Job Description
A mission-driven Product Manager responsible for automating operational workflows within the Virtual Power Plant platform, working across Product, Data, Engineering, and Operations teams to enhance efficiency, insights, and dispatch success at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the automation of operational workflows for the Virtual Power Plant platform.
- Develop tools and systems to increase operational efficiency and unlock insights.
- Collaborate with Product, Data, Engineering, and Operations teams to improve dispatch success.
- Transform manual processes such as participant targeting, pre-event optimizations, real-time monitoring, and post-event reporting into automated solutions.
Requirements
- Experience leading the automation of operational workflows tied to a Virtual Power Plant platform, including tasks such as participant targeting, pre-event optimizations, real-time monitoring, and post-event reporting.
- Ability to turn operational pain points into seamless, automated product experiences.
- Proven ability to work at the intersection of Product, Data, Engineering, and Operations to build tools and systems that increase efficiency, unlock insights, and drive dispatch success at scale.
- Strong understanding of dispatch processes and performance optimization in energy or similar operational environments.
- Experience in developing and managing products that support large-scale, rapidly scaling business operations.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Product, Data, Engineering, and Operations.
- Ability to handle additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors or managers related to the position or department.
- Knowledge of the importance of timely and accurate reporting for internal stakeholders and external energy partners.
