Job Description
The Assistant Manager, Servicing Recoveries oversees daily operations and staff performance within the Servicing Department, managing complex cases related to bankruptcy, foreclosure, mortgage, and probate, while ensuring compliance, process improvements, and team development to maintain operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operations of the Servicing Recoveries department
- Oversee staff performance, compliance, and quality standards
- Manage escalations for complex or high-risk cases in Bankruptcy, Foreclosure, Mortgage, and Probate
- Ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs)
- Partner with department leadership to drive process improvements and maintain regulatory compliance
- Support team development and resolve systemic issues
- Manage frontline agents and Senior SMEs to ensure operational excellence
Requirements
- Experience in leading day-to-day operations within a servicing department, including overseeing staff performance, compliance, and quality standards.
- Ability to manage frontline agents and Senior Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
- Experience ensuring Service Level Agreement (SLA) adherence.
- Experience managing escalations for complex or high-risk cases in Bankruptcy, Foreclosure, Mortgage, and Probate.
- Partnering with department leadership to drive process improvements.
- Maintaining regulatory compliance within the servicing operations.
- Supporting team development to resolve systemic issues and drive process improvements.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and develop team members.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to support operational excellence and strategic initiatives.
- Ability to balance daily operational oversight with long-term departmental goals.
- Deep operational knowledge of servicing functions related to recoveries and high-risk cases.
- Experience in managing or overseeing compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to mortgage and loan servicing.
- Excellent communication skills to handle escalations and collaborate with leadership.
- Ability to perform additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors or managers related to the position or department.
Benefits & Perks
Compensation range of $70,000 - $80,000 annually
