Job Description
The Assistant Manager, Servicing Recoveries oversees daily operations within the Servicing Department, managing staff performance, ensuring compliance, handling escalations for high-risk cases, and driving process improvements to maintain operational excellence and regulatory adherence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operations of the Servicing Recoveries department
- Oversee staff performance, compliance, and quality standards
- Manage escalations for complex or high-risk cases in Bankruptcy, Foreclosure, Mortgage, and Probate
- Ensure SLA adherence and monitor operational metrics
- Partner with leadership to drive process improvements and maintain regulatory compliance
- Support team development and resolve systemic issues
- Manage frontline agents and Senior SMEs to ensure effective case resolution
Requirements
- Experience leading day-to-day operations within a Servicing Department, including overseeing staff performance, compliance, and quality standards.
- Ability to manage frontline agents and Senior Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
- Experience ensuring Service Level Agreement (SLA) adherence.
- Proven ability to manage escalations for complex or high-risk cases in Bankruptcy, Foreclosure, Mortgage, and Probate.
- Partnering with department leadership to drive process improvements and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Supporting team development to resolve systemic issues and support strategic initiatives.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to balance daily operational oversight and long-term departmental goals.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to address operational challenges and improve processes.
- Deep operational knowledge of servicing functions related to recoveries, including handling high-risk cases.
- Ability to contribute to maintaining operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and team effectiveness.
- Experience in managing or supporting compliance with relevant regulations in the servicing and recovery domain.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with department leadership and team members.
- Ability to perform additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors or other managers related to the position.
- Educational background or experience relevant to servicing, recoveries, or related financial operations (implied but not explicitly specified).
