A full-cycle Operations Recruiter responsible for hiring Class 3-7 commercial vehicle drivers to support Gatik's autonomous fleet operations, ensuring compliance, candidate assessment, and onboarding in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle recruiting for Autonomous Vehicle Operators (AVOs), including sourcing, screening, and onboarding candidates.
Partner with Fleet Operations and external vendors to meet hiring goals and timelines.
Pre-screen candidates for compliance with FMCSA and DOT regulations.
Coordinate candidate interviews, background checks, drug screens, DOT physicals, and other evaluations.
Promote Gatik's AVO program to potential candidates through outreach and relationship building.
Track and process candidates using Applicant Tracking Systems.
Support onboarding and logistics for new hires, including orientation and road tests.
Analyze recruiting data to optimize the hiring process.
Leverage sourcing techniques to attract top-tier candidates.
Serve as a brand ambassador, promoting Gatik’s mission and culture.
Requirements
Three years of experience in high-volume recruiting, ideally within transportation, logistics, or fleet operations.
Strong understanding of DOT and FMCSA compliance requirements.
Proven success managing multiple requisitions and meeting aggressive hiring targets.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a consultative, relationship-first approach.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership.
Experience working with applicant tracking systems such as Greenhouse, Lever, or similar.
Prior experience supporting both direct and contract hiring is preferred.
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent practical experience.
