Job Description
Operate and supervise autonomous middle-mile box trucks, collaborating with engineering teams to test and refine self-driving technology while ensuring safety and compliance in a fast-growing autonomous freight logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate 26-30 ft box trucks in manual mode while supervising autonomous driving systems
- Collaborate with engineering teams to test, evaluate, and refine autonomous vehicle technology
- Monitor system performance using onboard screens, diagnostic tools, and software
- Conduct test runs, document unusual behavior, and provide feedback for system improvements
- Maintain safety and compliance by following DOT and company safety guidelines
Requirements
- Three (3) years of experience driving 26-30 ft box trucks in manual mode.
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Flexible availability to work rotating or variable shifts, including night shifts from 7:30 PM to 6:30 AM, five days per week including weekends.
- Excellent judgment under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to write clear, simple reports.
- A natural problem-solver with a curious, inventor mindset.
