Job Description
A Solar Installer is responsible for installing residential solar energy systems, working as part of a team to ensure quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. The role involves hands-on installation work, often requiring prior construction or roofing experience, and offers competitive pay and benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Install solar systems ranging from 1kW to 30kW on residential homes
- Work as part of a crew to complete solar installations efficiently and safely
- Handle construction and roofing tasks related to solar system installation
- Ensure quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards during installation
- Collaborate with team members to meet installation goals and project deadlines
Requirements
- Experience installing solar systems ranging from 1kW to 30kW on residential homes.
- Prior construction and/or roofing experience.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to work with hands and perform physical tasks involved in installation work.
- Motivated by meeting goals and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to take pride in work and maintain quality craftsmanship.
