Job Description

This role involves leveraging geospatial technology and industry knowledge to build relationships, develop strategies, and drive sales within the Commercial Forestry sector, supporting customer success and business growth through account management and solution selling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build relationships and develop location strategies for organizations.
  • Maintain a pipeline of business growth opportunities with new and existing customers.
  • Understand customer needs, industry knowledge, and key stakeholders to tailor GIS solutions.
  • Articulate the value of Esri technology related to the Commercial Forestry industry.
  • Execute account management and sales processes to meet sales targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to define and implement account strategies.
  • Participate in trade shows, workshops, and seminars to promote Esri solutions.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of enterprise sales and/or relevant consulting or program management experience.
  • Experience creating partnerships and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor with customers.
  • Understanding of account management, account planning, and opportunity strategy creation.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Commercial Forestry and new technology trends, with the ability to translate this into solutions for customers.
  • Ability to negotiate, present, and support visual storytelling across all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%.
  • Bachelor’s degree in GIS, business administration, forestry, forest management, natural resource management, or a related field.
