Job Description
The Senior Data Scientist at Forbright is responsible for developing and managing advanced analytics for commercial lending, focusing on creating data-driven insights to support portfolio strategy, risk management, and growth, with an emphasis on predictive and forward-looking analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the steward of advanced analytics for commercial lending.
- Develop, maintain, and evolve data-driven insights to inform portfolio strategy, risk management, and growth decisions.
- Advance predictive and forward-looking analytics in areas such as loan profitability, portfolio yield, risk, payoffs, and future income outlook.
Requirements
- Developing, maintaining, and evolving data-driven insights that inform portfolio strategy, risk management, and growth decisions for commercial lending.
- Serving as Forbright's steward of advanced analytics for commercial lending, with end-to-end responsibility for analytics related to loan profitability, portfolio yield, risk, payoffs, and future income outlook.
- Moving the organization into predictive and forward-looking analytics in areas such as loan profitability, portfolio yield, risk, payoffs, and future income outlook.
- Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing with others.
- Ability to operate technology or other office machinery such as printers, scanners, etc.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while performing duties.
- Use hands and fingers to operate a computer monitor with visual acuity.
- Work primarily in an office setting, with some positions possibly allowing remote work at management discretion.
- Exhibit a high level of flexibility regarding situationally assigned duties outside of the job description to ensure organizational efficiency.
