Job Description
The IT Staff Auditor at Forbright Bank is responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of IT systems, controls, and processes, including cybersecurity, data integrity, and regulatory compliance, by developing and executing audit programs and collaborating with senior leadership to assess technology risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate the effectiveness of IT systems, controls, and processes across the bank
- Collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders to assess technology risks
- Develop and execute audit programs focused on IT operations
- Review the adequacy of IT controls and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Requirements
- Possess the ability to evaluate the effectiveness of IT systems, controls, and processes across Forbright Bank.
- Have experience developing and executing audit programs focused on IT operations.
- Review the adequacy of IT controls to ensure they meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and key stakeholders to assess risks related to technology infrastructure, cybersecurity, data integrity, and regulatory compliance.
- Possess the skills to communicate clearly verbally and in writing with others.
- Be able to operate technology or other office machinery such as printers and scanners.
- Remain in a stationary position for extended periods while performing duties.
- Use hands and fingers effectively to operate computers and other office equipment.
- Possess visual acuity to utilize a computer monitor effectively.
- Have a minimum of 1 year of experience in IT audit, internal audit, or related roles (implied by the role's responsibilities and typical industry standards).
- Possess a relevant educational background, such as a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, or related fields (implied as a standard requirement for the role).
- Be able to work in an office setting, with the flexibility to work remotely or in a hybrid model as determined by management.
- Be capable of performing duties that may require extended periods of sitting and use of hands and fingers for operating office equipment.
