The Senior Data Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data models across the full data engineering stack, with a focus on data modeling in the medallion architecture, to support reporting and analytics for the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop data models for Silver and Gold layers in the medallion architecture.
Work with engineering teams, customers, and end-users to create efficient and useful data models.
Handle the full Data Engineering stack from data ingestion to reporting.
Requirements
Experience working with the full Data Engineering stack from ingestion to reporting, with a primary focus on Data Modeling the Silver and Gold layers in the medallion concept.
Ability to work closely with other engineering teams, customers, and end-users to create and deliver efficient and useful data models.
Proficiency in data modeling, specifically in designing and implementing Silver and Gold layers within a medallion architecture.
Regularly required to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
Ability to operate technology or other office machinery such as printers and scanners.
Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing with others.
Work primarily conducted in an office setting, with some positions possibly allowing remote work at management discretion.
Demonstrated flexibility to perform situationally assigned duties outside of the standard job description to support organizational efficiency.
