Job Description
The AVP, Systems Integration Engineer, Digital Banking is a senior technical role responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust software solutions, setting technical direction, mentoring engineers, and ensuring the successful integration of systems to support the bank's digital banking services.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust software solutions for digital banking systems
- Set technical direction and architecture improvements for integration projects
- Mentor and guide engineering team members
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure systems are scalable, secure, and high-performing
- Ensure integration projects meet business and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Designing, developing, and maintaining robust software solutions across the organization.
- Setting technical direction for systems integration projects.
- Mentoring engineers to develop their skills and knowledge.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance systems.
- Driving architectural improvements and championing best practices in software development and system integration.
- Ensuring that integration projects meet business and regulatory requirements.
- Possessing a comprehensive understanding of digital banking systems and integration processes.
- Having experience in designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions in a banking or financial services environment.
- Demonstrating the ability to work primarily in an office setting, with the flexibility for remote work at management discretion.
- Being capable of remaining in a stationary position for extended periods while performing job duties.
- Using hands and fingers to operate computers, office machinery, and technology tools.
- Utilizing a computer monitor with visual acuity to perform tasks.
- Communicating clearly, both verbally and in writing, with team members and stakeholders.
