Job Description
The Staff Auditor conducts audits and reviews of various areas within Forbright Bank, focusing on business operations and internal controls over financial reporting, to support the bank's compliance and operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct audits and reviews of various areas within Forbright Bank
- Assist in developing audit programs
- Perform testing focused on business operations and internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR)
Requirements
- Possess the ability to perform duties primarily in an office setting, with the capability to operate technology or office machinery such as printers and scanners, communicate clearly verbally and in writing, and remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
- Have the skills to use hands and fingers effectively and utilize a computer monitor with visual acuity.
- Demonstrate the ability to conduct audits and reviews of various areas related to Forbright Bank, including assisting in the development of audit programs and testing with a focus on business operations and internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR).
- Possess the educational background and experience necessary to qualify for an entry-level position with a salary of approximately $70,000, or a highly experienced candidate with a salary up to $80,000, depending on qualifications and prior experience.
- Be able to work in a hybrid environment, requiring 1 to 2 days per week in the office, with flexibility for future modifications based on business needs.
- Be capable of demonstrating a high level of flexibility to perform situationally assigned duties outside of the standard job description to support the organization’s efficiency and growth.
