Job Description
The AVP, Senior Manager, Financial Planning Analysis supports the bank's financial planning activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, while working closely with senior management to drive strategic initiatives and ensure effective financial management.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the VP or Director of Financial Planning Analysis with annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly financial analysis for the bank and holding company
- Support strategic initiatives such as capital stress testing, capital planning, and Board of Directors reporting
- Analyze business unit and lending profitability
- Maximize utilization of Workday General Ledger and Planning tools
- Prepare ad-hoc reports including external and internal benchmarking
Requirements
- Assist the VP, Director of Financial Planning Analysis (FP A) with FP A activities for the Bank and consolidated holding company including annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly quarterly financial analysis.
- Support key deliverables and strategic initiatives such as annual capital stress testing and capital planning, Board of Directors reporting, business unit and lending profitability analysis, maximizing utilization of Workday General Ledger and Planning tools, and ad-hoc reporting including external and internal benchmarking.
- Have exposure to senior management and play a critical role in supporting strategic initiatives.
- Possess the ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing with others.
- Be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while performing duties.
- Use hands and fingers to operate technology, office machinery such as printers and scanners, and utilize a computer monitor with visual acuity.
- Work primarily in an office setting, with some positions potentially allowing remote work through technology at management discretion.
- Exhibit a high level of flexibility regarding situationally assigned duties outside of the standard job description.
- Meet the educational and experience qualifications for the position, with a pay range of $150,000 for entry-level qualifications up to $170,000 for highly experienced candidates.
