Job Description
The Director Legal Germany is responsible for leading the legal affairs of Fluence's German operations, focusing on complex battery energy storage project contracts, supply chain relationships, and corporate legal matters, while reporting to the General Counsel, EMEA.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage legal matters for Fluence's organization in Germany.
- Oversee the contracting of complex battery energy storage projects.
- Handle legal aspects of energy storage system delivery to customers.
- Manage contractual relationships with supply chain partners.
- Address corporate legal issues within Germany.
Requirements
- In-depth experience in leading legal matters related to complex battery energy storage projects, including legal aspects of the delivery of energy storage systems to customers.
- Proven experience in managing contractual relationships with supply chain partners.
- Experience handling all sorts of corporate legal issues in Germany, including matters that might end up on a corporate lawyer's desk.
- Ability to lead and manage a legal team in Germany, providing guidance and oversight on legal matters.
- Experience working as part of a legal department within a global organization, specifically reporting to the General Counsel, EMEA.
- Legal qualification and license to practice law in Germany or equivalent legal credentials recognized in Germany.
