Job Description
The Battery and Module Hardware Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and testing hardware components for energy storage systems, contributing to innovative solutions that enhance the performance and reliability of renewable energy storage technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop battery and module hardware components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware solutions.
- Test and validate hardware performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure hardware designs meet safety, quality, and industry standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in hardware engineering related to batteries and modules.
- Experience designing, developing, and testing hardware components for energy storage systems, including batteries and modules.
- Proficiency in electrical circuit design, schematic capture, and PCB layout relevant to battery and module hardware.
- Knowledge of safety standards and certifications applicable to energy storage hardware components.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues related to battery and module systems during development and testing phases.
- Experience working with hardware testing equipment and data acquisition systems for energy storage hardware validation.
- Strong understanding of power electronics, control systems, and integration of hardware components in energy storage solutions.
- Excellent documentation skills for hardware design, testing procedures, and compliance reports.
- Physical ability to handle, assemble, and test hardware components in a laboratory or manufacturing environment.
