Job Description
A Technical Project Manager responsible for leading customer-facing programs related to next-generation solid-state batteries, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project scope, schedule, and budget, and serving as the primary interface with customers in the energy storage and electrification industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead customer-facing programs for next-generation batteries, including defining scope, requirements, and deliverables
- Develop and maintain program plans with timelines, milestones, and resource/cost estimates
- Coordinate cross-functional execution with Product Development, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams
- Manage risks, dependencies, and change control to keep projects on scope, schedule, and budget
- Conduct regular reviews and serve as the primary customer interface, providing status updates and presentations
- Travel to customer and supplier sites for project kickoffs, reviews, trials, builds, and issue resolution
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical, electrical, chemical, materials, or related engineering fields.
- At least 3 years of experience in technical program management for batteries, electric vehicles (EV), or related hardware, with direct customer experience.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English; Korean language skills are a plus for roles based in Korea.
- Willingness to travel to customer and supplier sites as needed for kickoffs, reviews, trials, builds, and issue resolution.
- Strong communication, meeting leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- High proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel for customer presentations.
- Proficiency in MS Project or equivalent project management tools.
