Job Description
The Cell Product Development Engineer will design, validate, and optimize lithium-ion and solid-state battery cells, collaborating with cross-functional teams and customers to ensure high-performance, safe, and reliable energy storage solutions for various applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design lithium-ion and solid-state battery cell products based on customer requirements and safety standards
- Validate and optimize electrochemical and safety performance through testing and data analysis
- Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) processes, including managing documentation and sample builds
- Identify and resolve technical issues through failure analysis and root-cause investigations
- Participate in customer meetings to discuss product development and technical feedback
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and R&D teams to resolve technical issues related to cell products
Requirements
- Master's degree or higher in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in battery material or product development, with a strong understanding of lithium-ion battery systems.
- Demonstrated ability to independently lead product or material development projects from concept to validation.
- Strong skills in failure analysis, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills in English both written and verbal.
