A Senior Staff Power Cell Development Engineer responsible for developing next-generation solid-state battery cells, including design, validation, optimization, and supporting customer and internal technical discussions to advance energy storage solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and validate next-generation silicon-based drone and LMB power cells according to technical roadmaps and customer requirements.
Design cell products, evaluate materials, formulas, and processes to enable product realization.
Lead new product introduction (NPI) activities, including preparing and releasing BOMs, DFMEAs, and sample-building documentation.
Participate in technical discussions with customers regarding new product development.
Support battery material development, including cathodes, anodes, separators, binders, and current collector foils.
Collaborate with internal departments to resolve cell product-related technical issues.
Requirements
At least a master's degree in a relevant field.
At least 3 years of power cell or drone cell product development experience.
Knowledge of lithium-ion battery and lithium metal battery very well.
Ability to lead the product development independently.
Good FA problem solving data analysis capability.
Good communication skills in English.
Rich experience in customer communication.
