Job Description
The Cell Test Engineer will be responsible for developing, executing, and analyzing cell testing protocols for solid-state batteries, ensuring compliance with standards, maintaining testing equipment, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support battery development and validation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize cell testing systems, including processes, standards, and protocols.
- Coordinate with customers on testing standards, plans, and schedules.
- Conduct cell testing, analyze results, resolve testing issues, and support failure analysis.
- Organize and analyze cell data, review test reports, and establish a cell database.
- Develop automated data processing scripts for test data analysis.
- Track and interpret international testing standards and regulations, benchmarking against industry standards.
- Manage the testing laboratory, maintain testing equipment, and plan annual testing requirements.
Requirements
- More than four years of relevant experience in cell testing, with familiarity in the cell performance testing process and methods, understanding of testing standards and safety regulations.
- Ability to quickly understand various testing requirements, convert requirements into test plans, and implement testing work.
- Proficiency in data analysis and using data processing software to generate test reports.
- Familiarity with the operation and data management of cell testing equipment such as Neware, and the capability to perform equipment maintenance.
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Good teamwork and cross-departmental communication and cooperation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and cooperate with personnel from different departments to promote testing progress.
- Understanding of the working principle of lithium batteries, the mechanism of degradation, and influencing factors.
- Strong data analysis capabilities and safety awareness in cell testing, with meticulousness and sensitivity to data.
- Fluency in English.
