Key Responsibilities
Ship high-quality, polished frontend code with a focus on React TypeScript applications.
Design and drive frontend architecture to optimize performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Collaborate with engineers, product, and design teams to create intuitive, data-rich user interfaces.
Set measurable goals to improve performance, user experience, and code quality.
Mentor team members through code reviews, pairing, and establishing high standards for UI development.
Identify and implement technical and process improvements to enhance team efficiency and product quality.
Requirements
Eight years of experience building modern web applications with Javascript, React, or similar modern frontend languages.
Experience with backend development and an interest in working full-stack to get things done.
Experience building enterprise software, applications with heavy data document processing, or software with users in niche industries.
Proven track record of proactively identifying high-leverage technical and process opportunities and driving them forward.
Knowledgeable in frontend architecture, best practices, and systems performance at scale, with the ability to navigate tradeoffs and create or evolve team-wide standards and libraries.
Strong product and design sensibility with a passion for crafting polished UI and the ability to translate designs into high-quality, accessible code.
Pragmatic, data-driven, systems thinker who makes decisions based on real user behavior and cares about execution and extensibility.
Collaborative leader and mentor with experience in leveling up teams through code reviews, clear documentation, and setting high standards for UI quality.
