Job Description
Support the execution and coordination of utility-scale renewable energy projects, including solar and energy storage, by managing work streams, analyzing technical and financial aspects, and collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution of client engagements from pre-NTP development through post-NTP construction and closeout
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure projects stay on scope, schedule, and budget
- Build and maintain project execution plans, including timelines, budgets, and task tracking
- Contribute to scopes of work and proposal development, including costing and scheduling assumptions
- Conduct technical and financial analysis of solar PV and energy storage projects
- Act as a power user of internal tools and software, providing feedback for workflow improvements
- Cross-train on different client engagements to gain diverse experience
- Support onboarding and mentorship of junior team members
Requirements
- Four years of experience in project coordination, project analysis, or project management within renewable energy, energy, or adjacent industries.
- Experience supporting utility-scale solar and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
- Exposure to working with external stakeholders such as consultants, vendors, engineering firms, or contractors.
- Solid technical and analytical skills, with familiarity in project execution, development concepts, permitting, design, or construction processes.
- Ability to review and interpret technical documentation such as site plans, reports, contracts, or specifications with guidance.
- Understanding of the renewable energy project lifecycle and key project drivers.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business, economics, or a related field.
