Job Description
The Director of Toxicology will lead efforts in non-clinical drug safety to support the development of new medicines derived from natural compounds, working cross-functionally to expedite drug discovery and clinical progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage expertise in Toxicology to support the progression of drugs from research to clinical development.
- Contribute to the Non-Clinical Drug Safety team by ensuring compliance with FDA Guidance and ICH Regulatory Guidelines.
- Collaborate cross-functionally within the Drug Development Team to expedite drug discovery and development processes.
Requirements
- Leverage experience in Toxicology to successfully bring drugs from the bench to the clinic.
- Be part of the Non-Clinical Drug Safety (NCS) Team, reporting to the VP Head of Nonclinical Drug Safety.
- Work cross-functionally in the Drug Development Team to contribute to expediting drug development to the clinic and drug discovery.
- Use knowledge of Preclinical Nonclinical Development in support of Clinical Development.
- Apply all FDA Guidance to Industry and ICH Regulatory Guidelines in support of Clinical Development.
