Job Description
A Data Science Intern at Enveda works on leveraging machine learning, computational biology, and chemistry to accelerate drug discovery processes, helping to transform natural compounds into innovative medicines in a remote, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply machine learning techniques to accelerate drug discovery processes
- Utilize computational biology and chemistry to analyze natural compounds
- Support the development and implementation of data-driven models for identifying new medicines
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD program in a relevant field such as Data Science, Machine Learning, Computational Biology, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms.
- Experience or familiarity with computational biology and chemistry concepts.
- Ability to apply machine learning and data analysis skills to biological and chemical data.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to ask bold questions and take brave actions.
- Strong curiosity and passion for innovation and impact in drug discovery.
- Ability to work remotely and independently in a remote work environment.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with a diverse team.
