Job Description
An experienced marketing writer is needed to create and edit high-quality content related to the energy industry, supporting brand, product, and sales initiatives across various channels, with a focus on explaining complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Write and edit marketing content such as blog posts, articles, whitepapers, reports, email campaigns, social media copy, and thought leadership pieces focused on the energy industry and company solutions
- Contribute written content related to industry events, conferences, awards, and campaigns, including presentation support and promotional materials
- Develop clear, accurate web content including solution pages, product overviews, and landing pages that explain complex energy concepts
- Create customer and sales enablement materials such as case studies, one-pagers, presentations, and collateral to support marketing and sales efforts
Requirements
- Experience writing and editing marketing or technical content within the energy industry
- A portfolio that demonstrates the ability to explain complex ideas clearly and effectively through storytelling
- Comfort using AI tools for brainstorming, drafting, and editing to meet quality and accuracy standards
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Comfort working as part of an ongoing, embedded marketing team, contributing to shared goals and timelines
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Engineering, or a related technical field (preferred)
Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range: $35 - $45 USD per hour
Work schedule: Contract engagement (independent contractor), flexible hours
