The Energy Efficiency Technical Project Manager II is responsible for overseeing technical projects related to energy efficiency programs, including system testing, data analysis, program implementation, and stakeholder coordination, to support energy savings and greenhouse gas reduction efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee user acceptance testing for web applications
Debug, reproduce, document, and fix support issues for production systems
Create visualizations and dashboards using BI tools like Tableau
Plan and monitor project resources to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion
Research technology and conduct literature searches
Assist with program design and implementation
Facilitate and monitor project progress and communicate updates to stakeholders
Organize and lead meetings and conference calls with internal stakeholders
Coordinate implementation activities between technical teams and stakeholders
Triaging reporting and software requests and overseeing deliverable quality
Manage the rollout of software and reporting initiatives to business stakeholders
Lead a team of subject matter experts in system updates
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in energy-related discipline with environmental, electrical, information systems management or mechanical engineering preferred, or a quantitative background, or a minimum of 7 years of work experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
A minimum of 5 years of work experience and/or graduate school.
Demonstrated ability to conduct detailed technical and quantitative analysis, knowledge of data science, and/or experience with information systems management such as SQL.
Data literacy as exhibited through a functional understanding of data granularity, data types, and relational databases.
Intermediate experience with BI tools such as Tableau, PowerBI or equivalent.
Intermediate experience with ticketing systems such as Jira or equivalent.
Experience using Microsoft Office on an intermediate level.
Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational and project management skills.
Formidable technical writing and verbal communication skills.
Experience managing technical projects and/or small technical project teams, including projects that establish efficient and scalable routines and processes for data delivery, manipulation, and cleansing, or projects requiring the design and implementation of simple ETL pipelines or the configuration of moderately complex low- or high-level software reporting initiatives.
Ability to troubleshoot problems involving formulas or complex data sets independently.
Excellent personal accountability, including ability to balance competing priorities.

Compensation range of $90,000 - $115,000 annually, with a target range of $90,000 - $103,500 annually
